The Brothers Lounge, located at 11609 Detroit Avenue in\r\nCleveland, Ohio, has been a Cleveland landmark since\r\n1959. Founded by Fred and Ed Sabath, The Brothers\r\nLounge is the oldest music club in Cleveland. It was known\r\nfor its quality ethnic foods, and great jazz and blues music.\r\nThe Brothers Lounge has seen on its stage national\r\nperformers such as BB King, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, and\r\nAnton Figg (drummer for Dave Letterman), to name a few.\r\nIt was the place where national performers could feel at\r\nhome and mix with Cleveland's \"local talent.\"\r\nAmerican blues legend Robert Lockwood, Jr. started\r\nperforming regularly at The Brothers Lounge in 1977 and\r\ncontinued to do so until 1990. In 2004, the current owner,\r\nChristian Riemenschneider bought the building and\r\ncontents with the goal of resurrecting The Brothers\r\nLounge as a Cleveland landmark. Riemenschneider\r\nmasterfully renovated the space, utilizing every square\r\ninch to its highest and best use, employing top-of-the-line\r\nmaterials and unparalleled craftsmanship, and equipping\r\nit with state-of-the-art sound & security technology, all\r\nwhile meticulously preserving the club's original character\r\nand inimitable charm.
