Brunswick

Ducks swimming in lakeBrunswick, part of the Cleveland Metropolitan Area, is the largest city in Medina County with a population of 34,255 as of the 2010 census.  It is situated on 12.96 square miles on the border of Medina and Cuyahoga Counties, approximately 27 miles southwest of Cleveland, and 29 miles northwest of Akron.

Although Brunswick is the largest city in Medina County, it still has that small town feel. With easy highway access to Cleveland and Akron, Brunswick is a convenient destination for prospective homeowners and businesses.

Brunswick has many choices when it comes to homes in family-friendly, safe neighborhoods.  The area has experienced steady growth with many new homes being built and new housing developments established in the past few years.  The median home sale price in Brunswick is in the $210-220,000 range.  Brunswick has also been named as one of the 20 safest communities in Ohio by SafeWise.com.

Residents are proud of their abundant green space, with beautiful parks and recreational opportunities available for citizens of all ages.  The newest park is situated right in the middle of the city around Brunswick Lake with a wooded walking trail, wildlife, and a nature center.  

Students attend Brunswick City Schools, a district of more than 7,400 students, seven elementary buildings, three middle school buildings and one high school. Brunswick City Schools consistently earns the rating of Excellent on the annual school report card.
